Terry E. Kemp, 66, of Montgomery, Indiana passed away on Saturday January 25, 2025, at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center in Jasper, Indiana.
He was born on January 11, 1959, in Evansville, Indiana to Ira Freedom and Verna (Hoffman) Kemp.
Terry attended Bethel Mennonite Church. Throughout his life he worked various jobs, truck driving, Carpentry, and providing transportation for the Amish community. He enjoyed racing horses, gardening, and fishing.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Verna Kemp, his grandmother, Fannie Briskey Kemp, his grandfather, Joseph Kemp, grandmother, Sarah Gingerich, and grandfather, Mahlon Yoder.
Terry is survived by his fiancé, Emma Riggle, his sister, Beverly Bailey, brother- in -law, Chris Bailey, nephews, Stephen Bailey, Matthew Bailey, and many cousins.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday February 1, 2025, at 10:00 A.M at Bethel Mennonite Church in Odon, Indiana with Carmen Detweiler to officiate. Terry will be laid to rest in Bethel Mennonite Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Friday January 31, 2025, from 4:00 P.M until 8:00 P.M at Bethel Mennonite Church and again on Saturday February 1, 2025, from 9:00 A.M until the time of service at 10:00 A.M.
