Daylight Saving Time Begins March 9—Indiana Bill Seeks Exemption

Millions of Americans will lose an hour of sleep as daylight saving time begins on Sunday, March 9, at 2 a.m., when clocks “spring forward” by an hour. While most states observe the time change, Arizona and Hawaii remain exempt. Indiana, a state split between Eastern and Central time zones, has seen ongoing debate over daylight saving time.
