
Emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Oak Grove Road and Fuller Avenue in Washington, yesterday at 12:48 PM. According to reports, one of the vehicles struck a utility pole, which was connected to a residence on Oak Grove Road. First responders, including the Washington Police Department, Washington Fire Department, and EMS, arrived on the scene within minutes. One person was transported to Daviess Community Hospital for treatment. The line crew remained on-site to assess damage to the utility pole, and Countryside Towing removed a white van involved in the crash. Authorities remind drivers to exercise caution as road conditions remain slick in some areas following recent weather conditions. Motorists should slow down and allow extra travel time to prevent further accidents.
