The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) has announced upcoming lane closures on U.S. 41 near Oaktown for a bridge deck replacement project. Starting Monday, February 24, crews will close both northbound and southbound passing lanes between Old U.S. 41 and Freelandville Road as work begins on the bridge over the CSX railroad tracks. Once the passing lanes are completed, construction will shift to the driving lanes. The project is expected to continue through September, weather permitting.
