A southern Indiana man has been arrested for felony intimidation after allegedly making life-threatening statements toward billionaire Elon Musk on the social media platform X. Texas authorities alerted Indiana State Police about the threats early Tuesday morning, leading detectives to identify the suspect as 28-year-old David Allen June Cherry of Palmyra. ISP officers located and arrested Cherry in Clarksville without incident before taking him to the Sellersburg Post for questioning. Following his arrest, investigators secured a search warrant for Cherry’s residence, where they seized an AR-15-style rifle, a handgun, ammunition, and a ballistic vest. Cherry has been charged with Level 5 felony intimidation and is currently being held at the Harrison County Jail without bond. Authorities remind the public that all individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
