Tommy Joe Alsman, age 43, of Washington, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. Tommy passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family.
Tommy was born in Washington, Indiana, on May 4, 1981, to Danny and Cindy (Drew) Alsman. Tommy graduated from Washington High School in 1999 where he was an outstanding soccer player.
Tommy was a loving son, father, brother, uncle and friend to many. He loved spending time with his family, his son, Jordan, great-niece, May May, and his dog, Lucy. He enjoyed the outdoors…fishing, riding his four-wheeler and hanging out with his many friends. Tommy was passionate about mushroom hunting. Each spring he looked forward to providing mushrooms to his family and friends.
Tommy is survived by his parents, Danny and Cindy (Drew) Alsman, who lovingly cared for Tommy; sons, Jordan Alsman and fiancé, Yenifer Serrano, and DQ Marshall; grandson, Xavier Alsman; granddaughter, Kambri Alsman; sister, Danielle Alsman- Hopwood; nephew, Brady Hopwood; niece, Jaisa Hardy; great- niece, Ariel (May May) Hardy; brother, Brock Alsman and fiancé, Janette Green.
Funeral services will be held at Fredrick & Son – Gill Funeral Home on Thursday, February 27, 2025. Visitation will be from 11:00 am – to 1:00 pm with the funeral immediately following at 1:00 pm. Burial will be at Sugarland Memorial Gardens.
