Daviess Community Hospital will host a Chili Cook-Off fundraiser on Wednesday, March 5, to support United Way of Daviess County. The event will take place on the hospital’s third floor in the Education Room, where participants can enter their best chili recipes or sample and vote for their favorites. Tasting and voting will be open from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with winners announced at 1:15 p.m. A $5 donation allows attendees to enjoy a bowl of chili or sample multiple entries. Two winners will be awarded for Best Overall Chili and Best Spicy Chili. Proceeds will benefit United Way’s community programs, and those who sign a pledge to donate will receive a free bowl of chili.
