Daviess County area business and community leaders gathered last night at the Washington National Guard Armory for the annual Daviess County Chamber of Commerce Dinner and Awards night. Several local leaders and businesses were recognized for their outstanding service to our community. Other winners last night included Graber’s Handcrafted Furniture for Small Business of the Year. Taber-Owens Construction for Business of the Year for their big projects including the Hatchet Hollow Renovation and The Commons, Discover Downtown Washington was the recipient of the Dillon Tourism Award, and this year’s Firestarter Award went to Tracy T.C. Cook. Sarah McCracken was honored as the Outgoing President of the Board . A crowd of nearly 300 people enjoyed the dinner and fellowship at the Thursday night event.
