A Jasper man has been arrested on multiple child exploitation and child pornography charges following an investigation by the Jasper Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. Kyle Lee Eason, 32, was taken into custody after detectives received multiple cyber tips in February regarding the storage and distribution of child pornography in Dubois County. A search warrant was executed at his Ireland residence, where investigators, assisted by the Knox County High Tech Crime Unit and their Electronic Storage Detection K-9, Bogey, seized numerous electronic devices. Eason faces 30 felony charges, including child exploitation and possession of child pornography, and remains lodged at the Dubois County Security Center. Authorities say the investigation is ongoing, and additional charges may be filed.
