Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita has filed a lawsuit against Jasper-based GoGo Travel Consulting LLC, alleging the company engaged in fraudulent timeshare schemes, identity theft, and deceptive practices.
The company reportedly used an Indiana real estate broker’s identity without consent to convince consumers they were working with a legitimate service.
The investigation linked the scam to two Mexican nationals in Puerto Vallarta.
Rokita warns Hoosiers, especially older adults, to be cautious of timeshare fraud, which is often tied to organized crime.
