The Daviess County Visitors Bureau has partnered with Locable to enhance digital marketing for local businesses, nonprofits, and community organizations. This initiative, dubbed #TakeBackLocal, aims to simplify marketing efforts, making it easier for businesses to connect with the community without requiring extensive expertise. As part of the partnership, the Visitors Bureau has launched a new website, Visit Daviess County, featuring a business directory, a community event calendar, and a news section to highlight local updates. The site will automatically include content from participating local businesses, streamlining event promotion and engagement. Local businesses and organizations can create a free Locable account to gain access to a microsite, publish events to the Community Calendar, and receive free radio advertising through Shake Broadcasting’s Drive Around Town segment.
