Late Sunday night, emergency crews responded to a house fire at 214 S East St. in Elnora. The call was received at 11:05 p.m., reporting that a garage attached to a residence was engulfed in flames. Firefighters from multiple departments, including Elnora Volunteer Fire Department (EVFD) and Plainville Volunteer Fire Department (PVFD), arrived on the scene to battle the blaze. Emergency medical personnel also responded, though no injuries have been reported at this time. The fire was brought under control, and crews remained on-site into the early morning hours. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
