James ‘Mark’ Godsey, 64, of Loogootee, Indiana, passed from this life, on Friday, March 21, 2025 at Deaconess Henderson Hospital. He was born on May 22, 1960, in Bedford, Indiana to James Leroy and Norma Jean (Seidle) Godsey. Mark married his wife, Victoria L. (Brummett) Godsey, on February 16, 1991.
Mark worked at General Electric, Bloomington Plant, retiring with 20 years of service. He enjoyed working on cars, taking Jeep rides and in his earlier days stock car racing.
Family left to cherish the memory of Mark includes: his wife, Vickie Godsey; daughter, Samantha (Josh) Bogard of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Malikhai and Violett; brother, Darren (Peggy) Godsey of Fayetteville and sister, Tracy (Scott) Holtsclaw.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, James Leroy and Norma Jean (Seidle) Godsey Farrell, infant son, James Leroy Godsey and stepfather, Paul Farrell.
Funeral services for Mark will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Meng Family Funeral Home in Odon with Pastor Millard Jones officiating. Mark will be laid to rest in Kilgore Cemetery in Raglesville.
