A routine traffic stop in Vincennes led to the felony drug arrest of 53-year-old Roger McClure on March 24. A Knox County Sheriff’s deputy pulled over McClure’s 2003 Chevy for an illegal turn at Hart and Kimmel streets. A K-9 unit detected drugs in the vehicle, leading to the discovery of methamphetamine, plastic baggies, a digital scale, and an unprescribed medication. A subsequent search of a storage unit linked to McClure uncovered more methamphetamine. McClure was booked on felony charges of meth possession and possession of a legend drug. He remains in jail on a $5,000 bond as the investigation continues.
