Martin County Community Corrections has been awarded a $90,000 grant from the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute to support a juvenile diversion program aimed at providing alternative options for youth in the justice system. The grant will fund a part-time Juvenile Case Manager. This individual will work with Martin County Community Corrections, the Martin County Probation Department, and the Circuit Court to provide case management to rehabilitate young offenders. Officials believe the program will positively influence the future of Martin County’s youth.
