It is with deep sorrow that we share the passing of Mrs. Laura Robertson on April 5, 2025 at the age of 62.
She was born to the late Charles and Esther (Kelsey) Nicholson on July 25, 1962. She was a devoted wife, a loving sister, loving aunt and a true friend. Laura was a member of the Mt. Zion Wesleyan Church.
Laura is survived by her husband of 23 years, Mark Robertson; her siblings: Carl Nicholson of Washington, Ted Nicholson of Alfordsville, Gerald (Cindy) Nicholson of Loogootee, Bruce (Annie) Nicholson of Loogootee, Nancy (Donald) O’Neill of Pennyville, Evelyn Hoffman of Washington, Shirley (John) Simmons of Plainville, Diane Holloway of Loogootee, Cathy Spears of Odon; Brother-in-law Dennis (Penny) Robertson of Odon; several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and 3 sisters, her father and mother-in-law, and seven sisters-in-law and seven brothers-in-law.
Laura loved spending time with her dog, attending family dinners, holding newborn babies of the family, and playing Euchre.
Visitation will be held at 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at 12:00 Noon, on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at Blake Funeral Home, Loogootee, Indiana. Pastor Caleb Moffatt to officiate. Burial to immediately follow in Burns City Cemetery, Burns City, Indiana.
