martin-alliance

The Martin County Alliance for Economic Growth held its annual dinner on Friday. A crowd of around 100 people gathered to enjoy a delicious meal and hear updates on the Alliance. Jessica Potts highlighted all the great accomplishments in 2024 from the new shelter house at Hindostan Falls. From the development of the new Martin County CEO Class to job fairs, lunch and learns, and much more, it has been a busy year. The  Member of the Year Award was presented to KCARC, the Knox County Association of Remarkable Citizens. KCARC is a Platinum Member of the Alliance who has helped the Alliance big time by opening the doors of the 160 thousand square foot Bowlin Manufacturing Building and allowing the Alliance to host many successful events at the facility and  helping to make Martin County thrive. The evening was capped off with a live and silent auction featuring many great donated items from area businesses.
