Visitors to Loogootee City Park can now enjoy free public WiFi, thanks to a successful collaboration between several local organizations. The new amenity is part of an initiative to increase digital access and enhance community spaces. The WiFi network, named Public WiFi, can be accessed using the password Loogootee. This project was made possible through a $28,215 grant secured by the Alliance. The grant also supported the purchase of new laptops for the Shoals Public Library and will fund future WiFi installation at Loogootee’s upcoming downtown greenspace.
