
The Daviess Community Hospital Foundation has announced its 2025 Health Careers Scholarship recipients, awarding $16,250 to 12 outstanding students pursuing careers in health care. In addition, one student received a $1,000 scholarship from the DCH Auxiliary and another received a $750 Helen Arthur Memorial Scholarship. Since its creation, the scholarship program has provided $251,350 to 221 students across Daviess, Martin, and Pike counties, including DCH employees and their dependents.

Taylor Ferguson – $1,000 DCH Auxiliary (Applied Medicine/OT, Indiana State University)
Karter Burris – $750 (Nursing, University of Southern Indiana)
Olivia Emmons – $750 (Nursing, Indiana University)
Kasey Freed – $750 (Nursing, University of Southern Indiana)
Luke Guy – $750 (Physics/Pre-med, Indiana University)
Amaya McBride – $750 (Medical Imaging, Ivy Tech)
Kenley Shaw – $750 (Radiologic Imaging Sciences, USI)
Hannah Yoder – $750 (Sonography, University of Southern Indiana)
Katie Sites – $750 Helen Arthur Memorial (Nursing, Vincennes University)
The DCH Foundation also awarded its first $5,000 DCH Nursing Scholarship to Madison Brunson, a nursing assistant at DCH currently studying at Vincennes University. The award supports students entering their final year of nursing school and includes a two-year employment commitment at DCH.
