Daviess County’s 2025 pavement preservation program is underway, with RejuvTec set to apply Reclamite® to several local roads, weather permitting. Drivers should be aware of possible lane restrictions and temporary closures on the following roads:
300W from US 50 By-pass to 250S
1200N from US 231 to 900E
150W from 150N to Old US 50
150S from 150W to SR 57
600S from SR 257 to Glendale Road
The Reclamite® treatment process begins at 7:00 a.m., requiring all traffic and parked vehicles to be off the road. Once the treatment is applied, sand will be spread before the road reopens. Motorists are advised not to drive on the treated surface until sand is applied, as the road will be slick and the material can stick to vehicles. Drivers should also maintain low speeds for several days to prevent residue buildup. In the event of rain or wet roads, work will be rescheduled for a later date.
