Larry E. Tegmeyer, 88, of Petersburg, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2022, at St. Charles Health in Jasper, Indiana.
He was born March 6, 1934 in Pike County to Hight and Leah (Kays) Tegmeyer.
Larry served in the U.S. Army and worked the family farm until 1964. He then got hired on at a furniture factory.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Esther, brother William, and sister Doris McDaniel.
Larry is survived by sons Mark (Patty) & Alan (Sharmon) Tegmeyer; grandchildren Evan (Carly) Tegmeyer, Owen (Isabella) Tegmeyer, Devin (Danielle) Tegmeyer, Tyler, Riley, Gavin, & Ayraessa Tegmeyer; and sisters Mary Helen (Bill) Traylor of Petersburg and Wilma (Carroll) Rumble of Fishers.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm EST on Monday, November 21, 2022, at O.D. Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg, Indiana, with burial to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00am EST until service time at the funeral home. Pastor Tony Sims will be officiating.
