Hatchet wrestlers went 2-3 on Saturday with wins over Boonville and West Vigo. Losing to Sullivan, Mooresville and Northview. Individually top records was Brady Byrd 5-0 at 106/113 lbs and Righley Purdue 4-1 at 132 lbs.
Last night the Hatchet matmen layeth the smacketh down on Evansville Bosse 72-6. Next the grapplers face Boonvillle at the Hatchet House on Wednesday.

The WJHS 7th grade boys basketball team improved to 15-2 on the season with a 31-18 victory over Pike Central. Jackson Howell led a balanced scoring attack with 9 points. Darian Turner had 8, The WJHS 8th grade boys (9-5) picked up a win at Pike Central 54-28. Aiden Boyd led the scoring for the Hatchets with 13 points followed by Levi Burkemper with 11.
Both teams are back in action Wednesday. The 8th grade travels to Vincennes Clarke while the 7th grade will host Vincennes Clarke.

The Washington Sixth Grade Boys Basketball Black Team improved to 7-4 Monday night with a win over Pike Central 33 to 13. The Hatchets were led by Dylan Stowers with 12 points followed by Drew Clawson with 9. Their next game is at home against North Daviess tonight.
