ISP Jasper Post Asking For Public’s Help Identifying an Armed Robbery Suspect

The Indiana State Police in Jasper are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect. Days ago, on February 12 at 7:33 p.m., an unknown suspect, disguising his or her appearance, forcibly robbed the Village Hut gas station in Spencer County, about an hour southeast of Daviess County. The suspect pointed a handgun at the clerk before stealing a large amount of cash from the store register. The suspect was wearing orange pants, a black puffy coat, a mask, and white latex gloves. The suspect arrived at the gas station on foot and fled the store on foot in an unknown direction of travel. Please contact Indiana State Police Detective Brock Werne anonymously at 812-482-1441 if you have any information.
