A woman was arrested by officers from the Jasper Police Department after she was reported for urinating in the parking lot of a business on 3rd Ave. Hucks. The woman had left the scene before the officers arrived, but they were able to locate her and her vehicle shortly after, thanks to information provided by the caller. During a traffic stop, officers determined that the woman was driving under the influence of alcohol and that her license had been suspended. She was then taken into custody and transported for chemical testing after failing a standardized field sobriety test. The results of the certified chemical test showed that her blood alcohol level was .202, which is more than double the legal limit. The woman was later transported and booked into the Dubois County Security Center on charges related to the incident.
