The Washington Police Department’s ERT served a Narcotics search warrant on March 6, 2023, at an address on North St. following an investigation by officers with the WPD and DEA Task Force. The search yielded approximately 489.4 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine, Marijuana, and items associated with narcotics use and distribution. As a result of the investigation, 59-year-old Tyrone Clay of Washington was arrested and charged with dealing methamphetamine. The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office and Indiana State Police also assisted in the investigation.
