Two Vehicle Crash in Bicknell and Two Vehicle Crash in Washington, Minor Injuries

A two-vehicle crash on Monday afternoon left a Bicknell man injured at US 50 and Hickory Corner Road in Knox County. According to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, 73-year-old Steven Keyes of Vincennes failed to yield the right of way while crossing US 50 from Hickory Corner Road. As Keyes crossed the road, 30-year-old Derek Cox of Bicknell was driving eastbound on US 50 and struck Keyes’ vehicle. Emergency responders had to extricate Cox from his vehicle and transported him to Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
In the late afternoon of March 20th, emergency services responded to a two-vehicle accident with possible injuries in Washington. First Responders were dispatched to 200 E. Oak St. at approximately 4:40 p.m. yesterday. The driver of Vehicle 1 was transported to the hospital by ambulance and treated for minor injuries. Both vehicles were cited for having no proof of financial responsibility.
