On Tuesday, May 2, 2023, all departments of the city of Washington will be shut down in observance of Primary Election Day.
Services such as trash collection and city bus operations will not be available, and the Recycling Center will also remain closed.
For residents whose usual trash pick-up day is Tuesday, they should have their waste prepared for pick-up by 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 3rd.
