During an executive session held on Monday, the Knox County Parks Board relieved Rhonda Foster of her duties as park superintendent with the Knox County Parks and Recreation Department.
The board declined to provide any reasons for this decision, but they plan to swiftly hire a new parks superintendent.
Despite the board’s well wishes for Foster’s future, she has hired an attorney and is reportedly planning to file a wrongful termination lawsuit.
