Pam Y. Bynum, 60, passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at her residence in Washington.
She was born on July 20, 1962, to the late Samuel R. Bynum and Carolyn S. Hudson in Washington, Indiana.
Pam was a member of the graduating class of 1980 from Washington High School. Pam enjoyed working on crafts, and she also enjoyed anything Harley Davidson; especially if it had skulls on it. She was a lover of angel wings, her dog, Harper, her grand puppy, Ella, and especially her beloved son, Derek. Pam was also a pretty big fan of her daughter in law, Lacie King, and had a heart felt love for all of her “kids” in the community who called her “Momma Pam”. Her friends and family find comfort knowing Pam finally received her angel wings, and she would be proud of that.
She is survived by her son, Derek King and his wife Lacie, of Washington; her sisters’, Saundra Bynum and Brenda Naylor, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who became like family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Carolyn; the love of her life whom she missed dearly, Jerry “JK” King; and her daughter, Alicia Brooke Bynum King.
A graveside service for Pam will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at 1:00pm at Oak Grove Cemetery in Washington, Indiana with Pastor Brad Rainey officiating. Pam will be laid to rest immediately following the service.
