Get ready for an exciting Conservation Resource Fair, hosted by Daviess-Martin CISMA, taking place on Saturday, August 19th, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Washington Conservation Club (350 W. 150 S. Washington, IN). Come and explore the booths hosted by organizations such as the Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Hoosier National Forest, Purdue Extension, Soil and Water Conservation Districts (SWCDs), USDA Natural Resource Conservation Service, and Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever. Learn about tree and invasive plant identification, prescribed fire, herbicide safety, and forestry management. Check out the wildlife furs showcased by DNR Conservation Officers and observe live fish from the East Fork Fish Hatchery.
