At approximately 7:23 pm on September 28, 2023, the Vincennes Police Department received information about a concerning social media threat targeting Lincoln High School. Following a thorough investigation, law enforcement apprehended a 17-year-old student from Lincoln High School in connection with the threat. The student faces one charge of Intimidation by Terrorist Threats, classified as a level 5 Felony.
The Vincennes Community School Corporation and the Knox County High Tech Crime Unit played pivotal roles in assisting with the investigation.
