Pace Community Action Agency is currently extending a helping hand through the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), aimed at aiding low-income households in Daviess, Greene, Knox, and Sullivan Counties with their winter heating needs. Applications for assistance with electric and heat bills are still being accepted. Upon approval, eligible households will receive a one-time credit applied to their utility bill. The program for the ’23–’24 season is available until May 20, 2024. While the agency’s offices remain closed to the public, individuals can reach out via phone, e-mail, or fax.
