In a tragic incident south of Russellville on Route 33 near Elm Street, two lives were lost over the weekend.
The Illinois State Police reported that 26-year-old Mason Deisher, the driver of the vehicle, veered off the road, colliding with two trees.
Both Deisher and his 22-year-old passenger, Wade Lackey, were pronounced dead at the scene.
