With caller consent, the dispatch center can now send text messages containing links, enabling the receipt of pictures or live video streams related to an incident. This innovative feature allows for improved coordination and information gathering during emergencies. Additionally, the technology enables dispatchers to send text messages to callers who may not be responsive on the phone or during instances of 911 hang-up calls.
