While this school year is halfway over, schools and teachers are looking to prepare for the next school year. Washington Community Schools Superintendent Kevin Frank says the kindergarten roundup will begin the week of February 26th, with registration the week before. If you have an upcoming kindergarten student, this will be the time to get them enrolled. Something new that began this year was the dual language education program, integrating both English and Spanish teaching for the young students.
