Washington Police Department detectives and officers successfully apprehended 38-year-old Abel Dubon Castillo on February 11 at an Indianapolis hospital. The arrest followed the issuance of an arrest warrant by the Daviess Superior Court on February 7, for Castillo’s involvement in a series of crimes, including Murder, 2 counts of Attempted Murder, Burglary, and Intimidation with a Deadly Weapon. The charges stem from an investigation initiated the previous weekend in the 1800 block of McCormick Ave. WPD personnel maintained round-the-clock surveillance at the hospital.
