In the boys’ basketball sectional semifinals last night, Barr-Reeve advanced to the championship at Loogootee by knocking off the host Lions 44-33 in front of a sold-out crowd. The game was close through most of the night, as the Vikings pulled away late in the 4th quarter. Barr-Reeve will now meet Orleans for the championship tonight at 7 p.m. Orleans eliminated Vincennes Rivet in game 1, 69-21. In 3A at Princeton, Southridge took game 1 by defeating Vincennes Lincoln 50-41. In the second game, Princeton advanced by beating Pike Central 53-37. Southridge and Princeton will play for the title tonight.

And in 2A at Paoli, Sullivan held off Linton in a close one, 50-47. In the second game, South Knox cruised to a big win over Eastern Greene, 53-11. South Knox will face Sullivan in the final game of the Paoli Sectional tonight.
