IHSAA Golf Season is officially underway. At the Springs Valley Invite played at the Donald Ross Course in French Lick, Loogootee Lion Connor Swartzentruber takes home medalist honors in the 16 team field with a 79. The Lions team finished 3rd and the Barr Reeve Vikings took home 5th place.
In Baseball on Saturday Heritage Hills topped Barr Reeve 6-5 and with a wild 7th inning that saw Heritage Hills plate 4 and the Vikings came up just short scoring 3 in the bottom half. Jake Pauw took the loss in relief for BR.

Germany’s Stephan Jaeger held off world number one Scottie Scheffler down the stretch to win his first US PGA Tour title on Sunday at the Houston Open.
As you heard on the General the Cincinnati Reds defeated the Washington National 6-5 in dramatic fashion with back to back 9th inning homers by Will Benson and Christian Encarnacio – Strand. Lucas Sims got the win pitching 1 inning of relief.
