Barr-Reeve sells bonds

       The Barr Reeve School Corporation will end up owing a debt of $100,000 less than was feared in a bond sale.  The school sold over 2.2 million dollars in bonds at a rate of 2.037%
                  The Washington Times Herald  quotes School Superintendent Travis Madison as saying that was really good news.  The debt is $314,000 as opposed to a worst case of $415,000 the newspaper reports. The bond were sold on an 11 year term to pay for upgrading and taking over the Barr Reeve School Bus System.
        The Times Herald reports that recently the Barr Reeve School Board approved a million dollars to by 10 used and 3 new school buses for it’s fleet.
