Daviess County man almost hits state police car

        A local man was jailed in Terre Haute Monday after his vehicle almost hit a state police cruiser.
        At 11:40-pm Monday night, State Police report that 59-year-old Jeffrey Rohrer of Montgomery was stopped for not stopping at a stop sign and almost hitting the police car at 1^st and Sycamore Streets in Terre Haute.  Upon investigation it was discovered that Rohrer had a blood alcohol content of .11%.   
        He’s charged with Operating While Intoxicated with a Prior and Operating While Intoxicated with Endangerment.
