The Indiana Department of Environmental Management has declared today an Ozone Action day for parts of southwest Indiana.
Ozone levels are expected to be in the orange or unhealthy to sensitive range today.
Older adults, children and those with heart and lung diseases or problems should reduce outdoor activity today especially strenuous activity.
The counties affected in the alert area Knox, Gibson, Dubois, Spencer, Perry, Posey, Vanderburgh and Warrick.
