Interim South Knox High School Basketball Coach Jim Farris has been appointed as the permanent head coach at South Knox. The decision was made during the South Knox School Board meeting held on Tuesday night. Farris, who previously served as the Junior Varsity Coach, was named interim head coach in November. Farris assumed the position after former coach David Burkett’s contract was terminated due to a suspension by the IHSAA for violations of the limited contact rule.
