The Southwest Indiana Cantata Choir (SWICC) will present the cantata “Our Father: A Journey Through the Lord’s Prayer” by Pepper Choplin with a live orchestra on Sunday, June 2, at 4:00 pm in the Washington High School auditorium in Washington. The performance will feature a 30-voice choir, a 20-piece orchestra, and three narrators. While the lyrics will be sung in English, the narration will be presented in English, Creole, and Spanish. Performers hail from 13 counties across Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Florida, and New York. This free performance is made possible by a grant from the Center for Congregations. A free-will offering will be collected, and donations are appreciated.
