Pike-Gibson Water will start its annual fall flushing on October 21, continuing through November 30. During this time, customers may notice low water pressure, cloudy or brown water, and a slight odor. Residents should avoid washing white clothing while flushing is happening in their area. Flushing will take place daily from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. From October 21 to 31, flushing will cover State Road 56, State Road 61, Highway 57 from Petersburg to Glezen, and nearby side roads, including Augusta, Pikeville, and Scottsburg. From November 1 to 30, the focus will shift to areas from Petersburg to Elberfeld, including Union, Hazelton, and Mt. Olympus.
