Orange County Driver Arrested for Operating While Impaired

On the evening of Friday, October 12, Indiana State Trooper Austin Collins arrested a driver for operating a vehicle while impaired (OVWI) near Orleans. After receiving a tip from Orange County Dispatch about a possible intoxicated driver, Trooper Collins located and stopped Robert V. Wilson, 37, of Maryville, on a rural road. Wilson showed visible signs of impairment and was transported to IU Health Hospital in Paoli for a chemical test before being booked into the Orange County Jail. Wilson faces a Class A misdemeanor charge of OVWI and is currently being held on bond.
