On Saturday it’s Volleyball regional action as Barr-Reeve takes on Eastern in Mitchell  Saturday at 1:00pm on the General 95.9 / 101.3. Anyone who remembers “Fernandomania” back in the early 80’s will never forget the fervor of the summer of 1981.  So it was a sad day to hear that Los Angeles Dodgers great Fernando Valenzuela has died. Valenzuela took MLB by storm and pitched in LA until 1990 and played for 5 other teams until 1997.  Fernando Valeunzuela was  63 years old.
