Anthony (Tony) David Wichman (71) was born May 8, 1953, following a harrowing battle with cancer passed peacefully surrounded in the comfort of his family in his home on October 31, 2024. Tony, first and foremost a man that was devoted to his wife, children, grandchildren, and friends he considered family was a man that was larger than life. He was selfless and humble, endlessly serving his community, devout in his faith, exceptionally witty and a jokester to the end.
Survivors include his wife of fifty one years, Barbara Ann (Clements) Wichman, children Craig (Emily Abel) Wichman, & Erin (Tate) Lane, grandchildren Noah Milleman, Madelyn Wichman, Katelyn Wichman, & Corinne Lane, and siblings Theresa (Jeff) Canaday, Henry (Nancy Norweinger) Wichman, Suzie Wichman, and Francis (Pamela Stubsten) Wichman. Tony is preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Margaret (Montgomery) Wichman.
Visitation for Tony is to be held at Goodwin- Sievers Funeral Home, 2020 State St., Washington, IN 47501 on Monday November 4, 2024, from 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm with a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at Our Lady of Hope on Tuesday November 5, 2024, at 10am.
