The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office will enhance patrol visibility during the annual Safe Family Travel campaign, starting November 16. This initiative targets impaired driving, aggressive behavior on the road, and seat belt compliance. Funded by grants from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) through the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute (ICJI), officers will conduct overtime sobriety checkpoints and saturation patrols to promote safer roads.
