Washington Avenue in Vincennes reopened Friday following a major improvement project that began in June 2023.
City officials and residents celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Gregg Park.
The $8 million project, largely funded by transportation grants, included $6.6 million in construction costs.
