Early Sunday morning, a vehicle struck a utility pole at the intersection of E 550 N and N 450 E in Montgomery. Authorities were called to the scene around 4:23 a.m. on December 15. Responding officers reported that the collision downed the pole and power lines. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. REMC crews were dispatched to repair the damage, arriving on-site shortly after the accident. ISP has taken over the investigation. A preliminary breath test indicated a blood alcohol content of .112. Further details are pending.
